There are many reptiles around the world, one example of a reptile is a Sea Turtle. The Sea Turtles are made up of bone and cartilage, the shell is made up of cartilage and small bones.Their shell is very unique no other animal has a shell like the Sea turtles shell. Another interesting fact about the Sea Turtles they use their beak which is bone to break crab shells! The Sea turtles Can not put their head inside their shell.The Sea Turtles breath with lungs, they can hold their breath for five (5) hours believe it or not! You might ask yourself how can this help the Sea turtles, how holding their breath for so long helps them because they dive three-hundred ft (300) for food. This animals are omnivores. The Sea Turtles when it comes to lying eggs 100-1000 mothers come, they lay from 50 to 200 eggs! A interesting fact is that when the season of laying eggs come all the people who live close to a beach need to turn their light off because pollution and artificial light kills the Sea Turtles that is one reason they live for such a small time. The Sea Turtles appeared 200 years ago. There are more than 200 different species for example fresh water turtles, sea turtles, tortoises, semi terrestal, etc. The Sea Turtles can swim long distances because they have powerful flippers. An last but not least Sea Turtles cry salt.
