Biome introduction
There are nine types of biomes in the world. All of them are based on their biotic factors and abiotic factors. A abiotic factor is a nonliving thing, like water, and a biotic is a living thing, like a bird. We live in biomes all the time. When you go to the beach you are in a biome. That type of biome you would be called a salt water biome. Salt water covers 95% of water in the world. The most important thing of a biome is the abiotic factors and the biotic factors. They are the ones that make a place and their characteristics. Some examples are deserts, taigas, rain forest, savannas etc.
Desert
The Desert is one of the most hottest places in the world. The Desert can reach extreme temperatures. Deserts have extreme temperatures because in the morning its extremely hot and at night is extremely cold. The Desserts has few plants and even fewer vegetation to offer the world, that happens because of their bad soil that they have. One of the reasons is because deserts get less that 25cm of rain per year. The most common animals in the Deserts are camels and snakes. The animals that live in the Dessert need to be used to that climate, or they like need to know how to survive there. For example, a camel can drink
very large amounts of water in one day, or survive for a relatively long time without
drinking any water. On the desert the only resource of water is an oasis. The Desert is located in the equator. One type of plant that can survive to the extreme climates of the desert is the Barrel Cactus. And another type of plant is the Saguaro Cactus.

Tundra
The tundra is one of the nine biomes in the world and also is one of the coldest biomes. Its average temperature is negative twelve degrees Celsius (-12degrees Celsius). They have a really bad soil, so it means that they don't have many vegetation. The Tundra has such a bad soil because everything is frozen. Because it is so cold, it does not have as many animals as other biomes. Its animals are polar bears, the arctic fox, arctic hare, snowy owl, penguin and some others those are the most common ones. The tundra is located in the north and south pole. A type of plant that is there is the Arctic Moss.
Tropical Rainforest
The tropical rainforest it is in land, The tropical rainforests are located near the equator. The average temperature is twenty five degrees Celsius (25 degrees Celsius). Its average of precipitation is 200cm/600cm of rain per year. You would think because f were its located, and because it would rain a lot the soil would be good, but no the soil is very bad because of all the organisms that live there. The types of animals that you would find there are some Toucans, monkeys, frogs, leopards, iguanas etc. A type of spider that lives here in the Tropical Rainforest out of all of the ones there are is the Jumping spider. Another animal that lives there is the Frog.
Grassland
The grassland is located close to the equator. The grassland gets 25-75 cm of rain per year. Since the grassland has such a great soil it is a very fertile place. The grasslands have wheat, trees, and of course its has a lot of grass. The animals that live in the grasslands are zebras, kangaroos, impalas, foxes, giraffes, rhinos, snakes, and horses those are the most common ones. One of the plants/trees you would find in the grassland is the olive tree.
Temperate deciduous forest
The average annual temperature ranges up to about 20 degrees Celsius in summer and in winter it gets down all the way for everything to freeze. Its annual precipitation average is from 50cm-200cm. The cold places are the ones that get 200cm of precipitation. They have a lot of trees. The animals you would mostly find there are reptiles, squirrels, bears, birds those are the most common. They have a really good soil one of the reasons they have such a great soil is because there are a lot of Earthworms. Another animal that lives here and it is not so big is the Temperate Deciduous forest is the Jumping Spider.
Taiga.
The Taiga is the world's largest biome. The Taiga has very poor soil, so it means they have a bad soil. They have a bad soil because of their temperature that it gets really cold. The average temperature is from -54 to 21 degrees C. For half of the year, the average temperature is below freezing. The average annual of precipitation is 30 - 84 cm. The animals there are very fury because of the coldness or at least most of them for example they have a lot of bears, eagles, migrating birds, moose, wolves, owls, and even leopards. Because the climate of the taiga is very cold, there is not a large variety of plant life. The most common type of tree found in the taiga is the conifer trees that have cones. An animal that migrates a lot here is the Bald Eagle.
Temparate rainforest.
The annual precipitation is of 200cm-350cm. The average temperature is 70 degrees Fahrenheit. It has fertile soil, so they have a lot of vegetation as you can see in the picture at the left. They have frogs, bears, leopards, birds, frogs, macaws, and monkeys. Another animal is The Sea Turtle
